The team competes in the YRFU Central North/West Merit Table.

Harrogate Pythons 2nd XV are known internally as ‘The Pirates’. These players may not have been selected to represent the 1st XV on that particular day but still share the same professionalism, passion and desire to compete at the highest level.

This team is pivotal in providing pressure on those selected in the 1st XV squad and often find themselves propelled forward following outstanding performances.
