After the game 1st XV Manager Will Clough said, ” A game of two halves really. Disappointing to go in at half time only 3 points ahead having managed the game so well and been so dominant for large parts of the first half, I feel like we deserved better and on another day, the score could have looked very different. We struggled to assert ourselves in the second half and just couldn’t get a foothold in the game. We got dragged into a slugfest against a very physical team on a heavy pitch and the game just got away from us. There’s plenty of positives to take from the performance and we’ll do what we need to do in the week to get back to winning ways next week.”

The Pythons next game is at home to recently promoted Yarnbury.
